- Event planning can be overwhelming for organizers who are unsure of the level of medical services they need. Common questions include how many medical staff are needed and whether an ambulance is necessary.
To help with this, an Event Medical Services Risk Calculator has been developed based on the Health and Safety Executives Purple Guide for event planning. It guides organizers through the planning process to determine the required medical provision for their event.
The main Calculator we use are the Purple Guide for event cover, and the Green Guide, which covers safety at sports grounds.
Event organizers should consider both criteria to determine the appropriate level of cover.
